Working and Practicing Drawing

Hi all,

Its been too long since I last posted something on my blog, but during the past many months, I worked for Spaeth Design with huge team to help design the Holiday window displays for big NYC stores like Macy's and Saks 5th Ave, then later assisted a photographer while working at a Japanese restaurant.  The past the month I've been working at Structural Graphics in Connecticut, which makes dimensional mailers for many different companies like nissan and Tide.  As a production artist there, I've been learning about the process of how the mailers are created as well as techniques in paper engineering.

At the same time since February I've been following this book recommended by my friends and fellow artists Jai Kamat and Benlin Alexander  "The Natural Way to Draw" by Kimon Nicolaides.  I still have a loooong way to go, but here are some pictures of the exercises that I've done while following the book. However, the two headless female figures at the end were not drawn as part of an exercise for the book.

Thanks for looking!
